Connecting Safeline Performance
Safe transport and storage are the basic principles for which the Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) from VARIBOX have been developed. To ensure safety when using our containers, all containers can be equipped with the VARIBOX Safeline system. The VARIBOX Safeline system is an easy-to-use system consisting of an extractor tube in the container that can be connected to your system by using a coupler. On this page, you will find a video about connecting the Safeline Performance

VARIBOX Safeline Performance
Safeline Performance is specially developed to extract high volumes. The Performance system has a capacity of 20 liters per minute. Safeline Performance is available in EPDM and Viton. Both tubes and the housings are made of Polyethylene.
The EPDM version has a red color and a round shape. The coupler which has to be connected to the connection point is also red in color and has a round shape
The Viton version has a green color and has a 12-angular form. The coupler that has to be connected to the connection point is also green in color and has a 12-angular form.
This difference has been made to eliminate the risk of incorrect connections.
After use, only 0.1-liter residue remains in the VARIBOX. Only 0.4 liter remains in the extractor tube itself. These amounts are based on water and vary by condition and type of chemical
Safeline – safe and simple
As just described, the VARIBOX Safeline system is an easy-to-use system consisting of extractor tubes in the container that can be connected to your system using a coupler. The Safeline system is completely closed. This means that the VARIBOX does not have to be opened during transport or use.
The supplier fills the VARIBOX equipped with the Safeline system at its location. The extractor tube and other options in the container are prepared for use and the VARIBOX is then sealed. By going through this process thoroughly, the container remains completely closed during transport. Which guarantees safety during loading and transport.
When the VARIBOX is delivered, the VARIBOX is still closed. You can safely transport the VARIBOX from the truck with a forklift or pallet truck. The VARIBOX can then be placed at any desired location because the container has an integrated spill containment. When the VARIBOX will be put into use, the container still doesn’t need to be opened. Only a couple needs to be connected to the connection point on the top of the VARIBOX. So, no action must be taken on the screwcap or the container itself. This ensures that you and your colleagues cannot come into contact with the chemicals.
When the container is completely emptied using the Safeline system, the container still doesn’t need to be opened. Even when disconnecting the VARIBOX, no action has to be taken on the screwcap or the container itself. You just need to unclip the coupler from the connection point on the top of the container. You can then safely move the container because the unique design leaves less than 1 liter of residue behind. This allows the VARIBOX to be safely transported back to the supplier.
Because the VARIBOX Safeline system is a closed system, it is also plausible nothing can enter the VARIBOX. Which gives you the option to skip the cleaning process.
