The VARIBOX FC 1000 CDS Extractor Tube Viton is designed for the safe and controlled dispensing of liquid chemicals from the VARIBOX FC 1000. As part of the VARIBOX Closed Dispensing System (CDS), the extractor tube creates a secure connection between the chemical inside the IBC and your pumping or dosing equipment.

The extractor tube is installed through the top of the VARIBOX and reaches the lowest point of the inner container. By connecting the corresponding CDS Coupler, a closed and leak-tight connection is created. This allows the chemical to be pumped directly from the VARIBOX into your process without opening the IBC during normal dispensing.

The result is a controlled chemical transfer process that helps minimise the risk of spills, direct chemical contact and exposure to potentially hazardous fumes.

Designed for Safer Chemical Handling

The CDS Extractor Tube supports this approach by keeping the chemical contained throughout the dispensing process. When the corresponding coupler is connected, the system opens and allows the chemical to flow into the connected pumping or dosing equipment. After use, the coupler can be disconnected again.

Efficient Emptying with Low Chemical Residue

The design of the CDS Extractor Tube works together with the geometry of the VARIBOX FC 1000 inner container. The tube reaches the lowest point of the container, where the chemical is collected during emptying.

This enables efficient extraction and helps minimise the amount of chemical remaining inside the VARIBOX.

Low chemical residue provides both operational and environmental advantages. More of the chemical can be used, less product is left behind and the amount of chemical waste after emptying is reduced. Lower residual volumes can also reduce the effort and resources required for cleaning.

A Complete Closed Dispensing System

The CDS Extractor Tube is designed to be used together with the corresponding VARIBOX CDS Coupler Viton. The coupler connects the VARIBOX to your hose, pump or dosing equipment and completes the closed transfer system.

Using original and matching VARIBOX components ensures that the different parts of the dispensing system are designed to work together. This creates a reliable connection from the IBC to the process while maintaining the closed dispensing principle.

Viton Configuration with Aflas® Seals

This CDS Extractor Tube is intended for the Viton configuration of the VARIBOX FC 1000. The seals within the extractor tube itself are made from Aflas®, a fluoroelastomer selected for its chemical resistance properties.

Selecting the correct sealing configuration is important when working with chemicals. Compatibility depends on the specific chemical, its concentration, temperature and operating conditions. The chemical compatibility of all wetted components should therefore always be verified for the intended application.
