Payment conditions
1. General Payment Conditions
All prices in the VARIBOX webshop are stated in Euro (€) and exclude VAT, unless otherwise specified. Payment must be made in full before the order is processed and shipped, unless otherwise agreed with VARIBOX.
2. Accepted Payment Methods
We offer the following payment options:
- iDEAL (for Dutch customers)
- Credit card (all major types, including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express)
- Bank transfer (SEPA) – payment by bank transfer is possible with a payment term of 14 days. The full order amount must be received on our bank account within 14 days.
For verified VARIBOX customers:
- Payment on account is possible, but only after verification by VARIBOX.
- Payment on account can only be activated by us.
- For payments on account, the agreed payment terms and conditions apply as they normally do for the purchase of a VARIBOX.
For non-verified customers:
- Prepayment is always required. Orders will only be processed after payment has been received.
3. Order Confirmation
When will I receive the order confirmation for my purchased products?
You will automatically receive an order confirmation for every purchase in the VARIBOX webshop. As soon as your order has been processed by our system, the order confirmation will be sent to you by e-mail.
4. Payment Terms
- For iDEAL and credit card payments, payment is processed immediately at the time of ordering.
- For payments on account, the existing contractual payment terms and agreements between VARIBOX and the customer apply.
- For bank transfer payments, the full order amount must be received on our bank account within 14 days from the order date.
- If payment is not received within this 14-day period, the order will be automatically cancelled without further notice.
- Orders paid by bank transfer are processed only after full payment has been received.
- VARIBOX reserves the right to cancel or suspend orders in case of incomplete, incorrect, or late payment.
5. Payment Fees
- Any transaction costs for payment methods are charged to the customer.
- For credit card payments, specific fees apply. These are always displayed during the checkout process before the payment is completed.
6. Security & Data Protection
All payments are processed via our payment provider Mollie, which complies with the highest security standards (PCI-DSS). Your payment details are secured with SSL encryption and are not stored by VARIBOX. Personal and payment data are used solely for the processing of your order and are never shared with third parties.
Fraud & Verification:
We reserve the right to refuse orders or request additional verification in cases of suspected fraud, misuse, or irregularities.
7. VAT and International Customers
- Dutch customers pay VAT via Rotovia Deventer B.V. (21%).
- French customers pay VAT via Rotovia France SAS (20%).
- International EU customers with a valid VAT number may qualify for reverse charge. This is verified during the ordering process.
8. Invoicing
After completing the payment, you will automatically receive an invoice by e-mail. This invoice includes all required VAT and company details. If you have specific invoice requirements (such as PO numbers), these must be provided during the order process.
What should I do if my invoice is not correct?
If your invoice is not correct, please contact our customer service. You can use the form on the contact page. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible to resolve the issue.
9. Refunds and Cancellations
- Cancellations are only possible as long as the order has not yet been shipped.
- In the event of a refund (for example, in the case of returns or cancellations), the refund will be made via the same payment method used for the order, unless otherwise agreed.
- Refunds will be processed within 30 days.
